Pee wee league try outs?

This Morning

Here in Chicago, the morning chill seems to be colder than in the recent days. I decided that my fall jackets were not going to cut it on my walk to the train and commute to work. I pulled my winter jacket off the hanger and noticed that as I put it on, something about the sleeves seemed tight. My first thought was, oh my gosh! did I gain that much weight :) nope. But then I came to realize that the sleeves were rolled up at the end for some reason... and it occurred to me that the last person to wear this jacket was my adorably pregnant wife last winter with her adorable pregnant belly.

It was an instant time warp back to a time when mom and dad hadn't met our son yet, and nobody even knew his name. I smiled a very large smile and am smiling now as I walk out the door to go to work.

Signed,
A very happy man, son, husband & father.

Yup. I crawl.

It's more army crawl then anything else, but forward momentum has been
established! Our lives will never be the same.

Also, shout out to our friends mike & nia who delivered a healthy baby
boy yesterday. Welcome to the world Andrew Clinton Otte! Your buddy
Bennett can wait to play.

Right on Target

We had another pediatrician appointment today.  Can't believe our little boy is already 6 months old!  He's right on target... holding steady at the 97th percentile.  He's 22 lbs and 30" long.  And he laughed and enjoyed the whole visit.  He's such a good boy.  Now, he gets to eat three meals a day and can be an omnivore if he feels like it.  More options for mom!
